John is a chartered accountant having previously worked as a finance director and more recently as an adviser with the KPMG Restructuring practice. He is widely qualified and is a full member of the Society of Turnaround Professionals, the leading body of the UK turnaround profession and comprising a relatively small number of accredited members.
John takes lead responsibility for advisory assignments on behalf of lenders and investors and tends to specialise in business and strategy reviews, financial due diligence, turnaround planning and working with businesses to optimise financial management.
Tony is a chartered accountant and before joining Vincere was team leader of KPMG's northern Restructuring practice and a former colleague of John. During his 13 year career with KPMG Tony was involved in the development of that firm's turnaround services and has considerable knowledge of leading practice techniques.
Tony takes lead responsibility for advisory assignments on behalf of lenders and investors and tends to specialise in business and strategy reviews, financial due diligence, turnaround planning and working with businesses to optimise financial management.
Simon is a chartered accountant and before joining Vincere in 2008 was a colleague of both John and Tony in KPMG's northern Restructuring practice. Simon qualified as an insolvency practitioner in 2001 (although does not take appointments) and has an extensive understanding of the impact of insolvencies on secured lenders and other key stakeholders.
Simon specialises in cash management assignments, the development of financial forecasts and lender security assessment. He also assists buyers and sellers of distressed businesses.
Neil completed his accountancy training with Coopers & Lybrand in 1997 before embarking on a commercial career with Tyco International. In 1993 he worked with John whilst on secondment from C&L. Since 2006 he has provided financial advisory and M&A services as an independent accountant and in 2007 he was awarded the ICAEW’s Corporate Finance Qualification as well as the ICAEW’s Audit Qualification, becoming a Registered Auditor in the process. Neil has worked with Vincere since 2008 to provide accountancy and tax advisory support as well as financial forecasting.
